The Youth Action Team is a group
of young people from around the borough of Knowsley
who are actively involved in the running of the
vKnowsley project. Becoming involved
with the YAT is a great way to:
- Boost your CV
- Improve your confidence
- Learn new skills, e.g. business/marketing
- Gain experience in something you enjoy
So far the YAT have organised our two annual award
celebration events - Casino Vol and The v Oscars,
both of which were great successes. They have
helped out with our new advertising campaign,
organised team building sessions including quiz
nights, pub lunches, laser quest, ice skating and
skiing....so they do have some fun as well!
Training...it's free!
This year
the YAT are looking to get more involved in
community projects but also want to do some training
as part of their personal development.
The YAT will be doing courses such as
First Aid, Sign Language,
Communication and
Assertiveness Skills.
A residential will also be taking
place as part of their Team
Building and Problem Solving sessions - so
if you fancy joining the YAT now is the ideal time
so you too can join in with all the activities and
get accredited training for FREE!
